WATDA serves as a clearinghouse for information important to dealers. Those faced with challenges requiring more insight can call upon the experienced WATDA staff to learn about options.  WATDA is the Dealers' Answer Place.

Most Dealer Help services are member benefits which require membership in WATDA and a login and password on this website.  Clicking on the links on this page will take you to a login screen where required.


Legal Hot Line - Staff Attorneys and other specialists are available to answer member inquiries on dealer-related matters.  The Association may not directly represent a member, but staff may give guidance.  You can reach the legal hotline by calling our main office (608) 251-5577 or you can visit our staff directory to obtain email addresses for specific staff members.

Bulletins - WATDA Bulletins inform members on topics of current interest involving the trade as well as state and federal regulations.

Legislative Bulletins - Legislative Bulletins review regular legislative activity and discuss current and proposed state legislation.

Dealer Point - WATDA publishes this free, quarterly publication for members.  Back copies can be accessed under Dealer Help and are searchable.

Reference Manual - The source of information regarding the legal aspects of running a dealership.  Available here by logging-in.

WATDA Website - Critical information, available 24-7, the website combines all of WATDA's Directory, Legal and Legislative Bulletins and Reference Manual information into a searchable, single source.

Truck Council - The WATDA Truck Council is devoted to serving the unique needs of medium and heavy-duty truck dealers in Wisconsin.  The WATDA Truck Council provides legal and educational services to help Wisconsin truck dealers comply with the ever-evolving regulatory requirements.  It's the only council of its kind in the country.

Used Car Council - The WATDA Used Car Council serves the needs of Wisconsin's independent dealers.  WATDA is the only state association to include used car members as an integral pet of its work and mission.
